Erowal Bay village has a general store with newsagency, post office, take away/ cafe, bottleshop and petrol.

A boat ramp into St Georges Basin, is a 7 minute walk from the house, while the cottage has its own small beach that is suitable for launching small water craft.

The waters of St Georges Basin provide an area for safe swimming, prawning, boating, fishing, sailing, waterskiing, windsurfing, kayaking, rowing, all manner of watersports.

The village is adjacent to Jervis Bay (Booderee) National Park. A magnificant diversity of plant and bird life - a great place for bushwalking or just watching the waterbirds and parrots from the deck.
